Five out of the top ten soccer brands published
in a recent 'Soccer Power Brand' survey are clients
of Servecast, the leading provider of broadband
TV solutions.
In a list compiled by London-based sponsorship
agency, Global Sponsor, at the recent Soccerex
convention in Dubai, Servecast's most recent client
and European champions FC Barcelona were ranked
as the number one "power brand" in football.
FC Barcelona was followed by English Premier League
club Manchester United, another client of Servecast.
Also appearing in the top ten were Servecast long
term soccer clients Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC and
Liverpool FC.
The agency compiled the list using a survey of
100 contacts and clients and then used a points
system to rank clubs over a number of criteria
including history of winning competitions, quality
of present sponsors, match day attendance, profile
of the club's manager and the quality and capacity
of their stadium.
