Servecast, Europe's leading provider of advanced

and Goal.com, the largest football website worldwide
are delighted to announce their partnership to
bring a football broadband video subscription
service to Goal.com's website users.
The partnership was announced today at the Servecast
New Media Sportscasting Summit in the Emirates
Stadium in London, which brings together some
of the very biggest clubs in European soccer and
sports broadcasting to share their experiences
in growing successful broadband video services.
Goal.com has the largest online football community
in the world with over 6 million unique monthly
visitors in over 210 countries in a site which
supports 16 languages. Goal.com provides an internet
and mobile platform to support this community.Servecast
provides and hosts advanced broadband video subscription
services for leading European football clubs including
FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC, Manchester United,
Chelsea, Arsenal, Celtic, Rangers and Everton.
Using Servecast's Media Studio platform, Goal.com
will establish a sophisticated video subscription
website with various video content elements. Servecast
and Goal.com will also form a strategic relationship
that will involve working together to acquire
content and also to establish synergies with Servecast's
existing customer-base of leading broadcasters
and soccer clubs.
The main broadband video channels for the service
will include Team Channels based around footage
from various clubs; a Goal.com News channel based
on Goal.com's magazine news programme and an Archive
channel which will consist of video footage of
famous goals.
There will also be a channel devoted to video
content submitted by Goal.com's international
team of journalists and this will include player
profiles. The launch date for the broadband video
subscription platform over the Goal.com website
is July 2007.
