Manchester United Unveil New Online Video Package.

English soccer giants Manchester United have today relaunched their broadband video service, MUTV online, which will be run by new media sportscasting firm Servecast.

The move follows the relaunch of manutd.com, the club's official website, last Friday.

The main change is in the 'look and feel' of MUTV online, which was previously run by pay-television broadcaster British Sky Broadcasting.

There will be live coverage of the pre-season friendlies against Coca-Cola Championship side Preston North End on July 29 and Uefa Cup winners Sevilla on August 12.

Highlights from matches in the top-tier Premiership and the FA Cup held at the weekend will be available at 12:01 on Mondays.

For matches played in the Premiership and domestic and European cup competitions, highlights can be accessed after midnight following the game.

The best moments from each match will feature in a package of between seven and 10 minutes.

There will also be live coverage of reserve and academy matches as well as behind-the-scenes features, player interviews and press conferences. MUTV online costs £4 ($7.30) per month or £40 per year.

Servecast already has deals with Premiership clubs Liverpool, Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal as well as Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers.
Manchester United today confirmed a refinancing package which cuts its annual interest bill from £90 million to $62 million

The refinancing of all of the club's borrowings, which add up to £500 million, will replace a £265-million loan which is secured against the club's assets, and will not involve the Glazer family, the owners of the club, reducing their £272-million equity stake.

The US-based investors saddled United with debts of £540 million when they completed their takeover last year, a move which concerned fans and investors alike.
