Lucy Gaffney has been appointed Chairperson of Servecast, Europe's Leading Provider of on-line multi-media communications solutions. She also takes up a non-executive Director position at the company.

Lucy is also Chairperson of Dublin based independent radio station 98FM and a non-executive director of youth-oriented radio station, Spin FM. She is a non-executive director of Digicel Jamaica, Jamaica's GSM mobile phone company and Digicel Caribbean Limited which is rolling out cellular operations in St. Vincent, St., Lucia and Grenada.

She is also non-executive director of First Active plc. In 2000, she was appointed to the Tesco Strategic Advisory Board and the Government sponsored Campus Ireland Board.

Lucy was acting Chief Executive Officer at Esat Telecom Group plc after it was acquired by BT in January 2000. Her involvement with Esat Telecom spanned six years, during which time she held a number of senior positions, including Chief Operations Officer, Director of Marketing and Managing Director of Esat Clear.
