Servecast Limited, the leading international provider of webcasting solutions today announced that it had completed the acquisition of Tornado Productions Ltd, one of the UK's leading providers of webcasting and streaming media solutions.

The combination of Tornado and Servecast will result in an enlarged group which will be the clear market leader in the United Kingdom, Europe's largest market for webcasting solutions.

Set up in 1999, Tornado Productions provides webcasting and streaming media solutions to a broad range of leading UK corporates and media companies. Its clients include Shell, Microsoft, BBC, EMAP, Old Mutual, Cisco, Rolls Royce, HSBC, Royal and Sun Alliance, Egg and Selfridges. Last year, it won the BTOpenworld Award for Best Use of Broadband.

Servecast has offices in Dublin and London and provides webcasting solutions to the corporate, sports and media markets throughout the UK, Ireland and Continental Europe.
