Servecast and Setanta launch Pay Per View Cricket Service
Dublin, Ireland - 12 March, 2004 - Servecast Limited, the
leading international provider of webcasting solutions today
announced that it has launched a new Pay Per View online cricket
service in partnership with its sister company, Setanta Sports.
Under the initiative, Servecast and Setanta will broadcast
live coverage of major international cricket events to a global
broadband audience from Setanta's new broadband sports portal,
www.setanta.tv.
The service was launched on 11 March with live coverage of
the 1st Test in the West Indies v England Series from Kingston,
Jamaica. Coverage of this series will continue throughout
April and May with three further test matches and seven one
day internationals.
This series will be followed by full live coverage of the
return series when the West Indies travel to England in July.
