Liverpoolfc.tv made history last week when they became the first Premier League club to show live football from the Far East on the Internet. LiverpoolFC.tv, the official website of Liverpool Football Club, showed two matches exclusively live on a pay per view basis on the internet. Neither match was shown on television outside of the Far East so that the only way the two matches from Liverpool's pre-season campaign could be viewed was via the official Liverpool FC website.

From its Broadcast Operations Center in Dublin, Servecast provided complete production and webcast facilities including commentary, satellite, encoding, managed distribution and security services to successfully deliver the live broadband video streams to a global audience.
