Setanta Sports and Servecast are to deliver Champions
League football over the internet for the first
time ever in Ireland and the US.
Setanta, the international sports broadcaster,
and Servecast, a provider of new media sports
broadcasting, will offer both live and archive
footage.
Online subscribers will have access to a range
of interactive content as well as live
and archive footage there will be video news bulletins,
player interviews and highlights. The service
will be provided by Servecasts media delivery
platform, Media Studio.

for such online broadcasting of sporting events

of the Champions League around the world means

Setanta will also offer rugby, football and other
sports to Irish and US broadband subscribers,
also available live and on an archive basis.
