Exciting opportunity to join the European leader
in webcasting technologies as part of our software
development team, which is being increased in
size in line with strong growth in our business.
As part of our commitment to superior quality
levels, we are seeking an ambitious Software QA/Test
Engineer to join our Head Office team.
Duties and responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring superior quality levels across the
range of products & services we provide
- Development of low level test plans
- Execution and (where possible) automation
of test cases
- Analysis of specification documents
- Management of bug tracking database
The ideal candidate will have some or all of the
following;
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a QA/software
testing role
- Particular exposure to the testing of internet
applications
- A degree in computer science or related discipline
- Some software development experience
The successful candidate will also be expected
to demonstrate;
- Strong analytical skills to investigate and
resolve problems, often under tight timeframes
- Attention to detail
- Desire to develop new skills
- The ability to initiate and follow through
on tasks and improvements of all levels of complexity
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
and interpersonal skills
- The ability to communicate clearly the steps
required to reproduce any software problems
identified
- High levels of reliability and professionalism
