Exciting opportunity to join the European leader
in webcasting technologies which is being increased
in size due to strong growth in our business.
We require an ambitious Broadcast Engineer to
join our Head Office team in Dublin city centre.
The successful candidate will play a key role
in the day to day running and development of our
Broadcast Operations Centre and be gain experience
in all aspects of the rapidly developing 'new
Media' sector.
Duties and responsibilities will include;
- Operate and maintain various format industry
standard Audio visual equipment
- Liaise with international broadcasters to
schedule incoming and outgoing signals
- Deal with clients on a face to face level
for live event management
- Create and convert media from multiple sources
to multiple sources
- Push forward streaming media as a global information/entertainment
media
The ideal candidate will have some or all
of the following;
- 1-2 years working experience in live broadcasting
environment in a technical position
- Good working knowledge of PC/Mac operating
systems & networking
- Flexibility - the industry is ever changing,
after all.
- A relaxed calm manner - especially under pressure
- Clean travel record - some international travel
may be required
The successful candidate will also be expected
to demonstrate;
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to being a team player
- Desire to develop new skills
- A confident and self assured manner
- High levels of motivation and ability to be
a self starter
- Ability to operate in a high pressure environments
- Flexibility in working hours - after hours
